Hello lovelies! Is everyone ready to tackle their work week? I have a ton of energy right now (Sunday night,) but I told myself this is the week of getting back into going to the gym before work. So, since it’s midnight, I’m going to take a guess that I’m feeling like a zombie right now. Hopefully you aren’t feeling the same way haha. But, if you are, take a second to get excited because it’s time for another Digit-al Dozen week! I’m absolutely stoked for this month’s theme, because I managed to pull off five floral looks<3 Yep, you read that right. Five days of flowers. It’s like Christmas all over again! Enough rambling though, let’s kick this week off with some roses.

Here is what I used:

I don’t even know what to write guys. This seriously might just be the best manicure that I’ve ever painted, and I’m so insanely proud of these. This fabric from antiquefabrics.com was my inspiration. These nails alone have me excited to see what 2017 has in store for the blog<3

  1. Start by applying three coats of Anne (press sample.)
  2. Then add a layer of Always on top.
  3. One the base is dry, add on the roses with acrylic paint and a detail brush.
  4. Clean up.
  5. Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.

I really hope that this post isn’t coming off conceited. But, I normally shy away from even attempting to paint patterns like this one, because I struggle with painting small details and outlining shapes. So, being able to pull this look off is huge to me. But now, I dare you guys to try a nail art technique or design that you’re scared of! You know, Polish Those Nails started off as my senior capstone project and the whole point of it was to create a space that inspires people to paint their nails and to learn new things when it comes to nail art. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to keep up with that side of the site so it’s all just my personal blogging. But, I really hope that this post inspires you to push yourself and try something that is out of your comfort zone. Even if it all goes wrong, it’s just nail polish (and acetone destroys everything 😛 .) At least you’ll know that you tried<3

And….that got really sappy. SO, leave me a comment down below with your thoughts and thank you for putting up with my rambles haha!
