Hello lovelies! I’m back with another Digit-al Dozen manicure! Did you guys check out the inLinkz in yesterday’s post? Everyone in the group is nailing (yep, went there) this color contrast prompt! I’m so excited to see what other looks they have in store for the week, because they’re bound to be incredible. Anyways, how about we take a gander (when I mentioned I turned twenty-three the other day, I really meant I’m basically a grandma…) at my second look before checking out the rest of group?
Here’s what I used:
I’ve been having mixed feelings about this month’s color contrast theme, but I love that I get to share some of my most recent indie purchases with you guys! Femme Fatale is a brand that I have been admiring from a distance (I own some from destashes,) but I finally decided to bite the bullet and place my first order. The polishes are all gorgeous and the packaging is so cool! This brand might be taking up a big chunk of my Christmas list this year…
- Start by applying three coats of After Dark.
- Then using a detail brush and acrylic paint, add on the stripe pattern.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Wax That…
Since there is so much happening in the base polish, I looked for a bold pattern that would pop against all of the glitter and flakies. This print by Caitlin Watson ended up being exactly what I was looking for! The orange worked so well the base color, and gave enough contrast without being jarring. Plus, the design has a lot of open spaces so more of the beautiful polish could shine through. But, that’s enough of me rambling. Leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so much for reading! You are the best<3
