Hello lovelies! Whose excited that’s Monday?! I’m not, but I also just finished drinking my third cup of Death Wish Coffee today and holy crap, jitters. But today is kind of an exciting day, because I’m finishing the 31 Day Challenge! It only took me like two months, but woo! I did it! Next year, I’ll definitely make sure to plan better so we avoid falling behind again. Anywho, let’s see if you guys can guess whose nails I decided to honor!
Here is what I used:
Did you figure it out? Maybe? Well, I decided to honor Chalkboard Nails! She is an amazing nail artist and the mastermind behind this challenge, so it felt right to pick her. Plus, I’ve been meaning to recreate these crop circle nails FOREVER. Like seriously. I’m so bad at remembering haha.
- Start with three coats of Magical Cabbage.
- Then using the distressed brush technique, add on a little bit of Darcy.
- Once that’s dry, paint on the crop circle design with acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
These photos turned out so bad, meh! Totally random question time, does it bother you guys if you can’t see the bottle label in photos? Some people were talking about it recently, and it’s something that I never gave much thought too. I’m working on adjusting my hand poses so you can see the brand name better, but please bare with me through some weird photos until I get it right. But, back to the nails! I love how these turned out! The design is super neat, and I’m glad that I decided to use a glitter polish for my base because it adds some depth. But, I want to know that you guys think! Leave me a comment down below!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! This is going to be another busy week on the blog, so I hope you’re ready for lots of nails (:
