Hello again! I have one more post for you guys tonight! Hopefully you guys aren’t minding my posts going up later at night. There’s a lot of stuff going on with work at the moment, so I’ve been trying to squeeze posts in whenever I can and that time seems to be at night. Give it a few weeks though, and things should be back to normal. Anyways! It’s time for some more Halloween nails and this time they involve glitter! Excited? Better be, because I am 😛
Here is what I used:
This look isn’t super outright Halloween-y, but this look could compliment someone’s costume really well. Imagine a witch with bling-ed out nails! Oh, or Ursula! I don’t even dress up anymore, but you know, it’s fun to come up with ideas. Moving on, this design was inspired by this necklace from CoriLu Designs.
- Start by applying two coats of Desire Of Suitors.
- Add a layer of Our Little Infinity over that.
- Apply a coat of Polish Con 2016 on top of that.
- Then use a dotting tool to place a rhinestone into a spot of wet topcoat.
- Paint the swirls around the 3D elements
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
So, yeah! I’m not really sure what to write for an outro, because I feel like I’ve been writing the same thing over and over again for this entire week. I will say that I’m digging how the glitter base turned out for this! Experimenting with different layering combinations has been fun, and it’s nice to break out some polishes that don’t get much use. Do you guys have a favorite combination of polishes that is maybe a little out there? Leave me a comment down below if you do, because I’d love to try it out if I own the polishes!
