Hello lovelies! Can you guys believe that it’s seriously already December 1st?! This year flew by so quickly, it’s insane! Also, totally just realized that I basically started yesterday’s post off with the same sentence. That’s cool. I’m totally going to leave it because it’s late and I’m too lazy to think of a new introduction. Anyways. The Challenge Your Nail Art group is back to posting this month, and this time we’re tackling Christmas nails. This first look is full of sparkle, so prepare yourself!
Here is what I used:
The first theme that we are taking on this month is silver and gold! This is a classic, holiday color combination so it made sense that it would be included in the challenge. My design doesn’t necessarily scream Christmas, but it has a ton of glitter (which is the solution to everything by the way.) Need something to cheer you up? Wear glitter nails. Need to pull a prank on a co-worker? Cover their desk in glitter paper (take my word for it. This one is so funny.) Need to get revenge on someone? Ship them glitter. Hashtag nailed it.
- Start by applying three coats of Sandwiches & Buttermilk.
- Then add a layer of Stardust on top.
- Once the base is dry, using the dry brush technique add on a little bit of The Full Monty near the cuticle.
- Repeat step three with Wanderlusting.
- Use a makeup sponge to dab on a some glitter from Bring On The Bubbly.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
We all know that I love my sparkle, so it’s a no brainer that I love this look! I’m actually wearing it as I type this (SO CRAZY.) But, I want to know what you guys think? Leave me a comment down below letting me know your favorite way to rock silver and gold. Also, glitter. Are you a fan or nah?
Thank you guys so, so much for reading!
