Oh hey, again! Remember that one nail art challenge, the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas, that went on all last year? The one that I missed probably like a third prompts? Yeah, well it’s over now but there’s a new one starting in its place! And I’m already late with the first post. GO ME! Anyways, this version is called the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge and while it’ll still last all year, it only requires a post every other week. My goal is to complete this entire thing, but we’ll see what happens. The first prompt calls for some silver and blue nails, which I added a geometric pattern too. So, let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
There was quite a bit of rambling at the beginning of this post, so I’m going to keep the rest of this pretty short. There isn’t an inspiration link for this look, since I kind of just painted whatever came to my head. It didn’t turn out exactly how I had envisioned it, but I’m not mad at this haha.
- Start by applying three coats of Sandwiches & Buttermilk.
- Apply a layer of Stardust on top.
- Then using small, ripped pieces of a makeup sponge, lightly dab on Ryan, Rocky, and Dory near the cuticle.
- Once that’s dry, using a detail brush and acrylic paint to add on the geometric shapes.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
So, what do you guys think? Sandwiches & Buttermilk is one of my favorite silver polishes, so I’m happy anytime that I get to break this bad boy (gal?) out! Geometric nail art is another favorite for me as well. Let me know what you guys think down in the comments though!
Thank you guys so much for reading, and I hope you’re ready for another year long challenge full of fun! That was super cheesy, but we’re sticking with it haha. Make sure to check out all the other wonderful ladies down below!
