Hello lovelies! Today’s posts are coming at you a little later than usual (actually a lot later,) but someone’s wifi decided to be a jerk last night so I wasn’t able to write any posts. Hashtag how rude! Anyways, I’m still playing catch up with a few challenges so let’s get right to the nails. Prepare yourself, because things are about to get creepy with some ghosts 😛
Here is what I used:
Ghosts are by far one of my favorite Halloween designs to paint. They always look so cute and huggable! Can having a pet ghost be a thing? Anyways! This design was inspired by this print from Oh My Dior.
- Start by applying two coats of Seasons Are Changing.
- Then add a layer of All Hail The Queen over top.
- Once the base is dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the ghosts and type.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
Guys, go take a peek at the macro below. Doesn’t it look like the little guy is just trying to cuddle?! Who could turn down that face? Enough rambling though. It’s pretty obvious that I love these nails! I’ve still been experimenting with different layering combinations for nail art bases, and this one is a winner. I don’t know what happened to Hot Mess Lacquers, but she was one of the first indies that I ever bought from years ago. It’s always sad when an indie disappears, but it’s nice to see that the polish held up over the years! If you guys know what happened to the brand or want to let me know what you think about this look, make sure to leave me a comment down below.
Thank you guys so much for reading! Make sure to check back for more posts later, because I have a bunch of stuff up my sleeve for tonight.
