Hello lovelies! How has everyone’s weekend been so far? I had so many plans to get things done around my apartment and for the blog, but I think I’m getting sick…so yeah. My bed and I have been best friends today haha. I can write blog posts in bed though, so I do have some things to share with you guys. Like this all blue nail art! Onto the polish!
Here’s what I used:
The theme for this past week of 30 Days Of Colour Challenge called for some blue nails. Which I was totally game for, because blue nail polish is my favorite! Also, on top of that, I had some untried Tonic Polishes that fit the prompt perfectly! And you guys know that I had to add a pattern. This manicure already had two of my favorite things going for it, so it made sense to add another of my favorite things on top. This particular one was inspired by this print by Ashley Goldberg (who I just realized has an Instagram and I’m stoked about it!)
- Start by applying two coats of Dragons At Dusk.
- Then using saran wrap dab on a little bit of Luminescent.
- Once the base is dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the circles.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
So, what do you guys think? I absolutely adore this look! I mean it has my favorite color, my (current) favorite indie brand and my favorite type of nail art. How could I not love it?! The best part of this look has to be the way that Luminescent looks sponged over the base. Tonic released a few other light mulitchromes in different colors, and I am so excited to experiment with them. But, until then. Leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Don’t forget to check back later for more nail art!
