Good evening lovelies! Wow, this post is going up so much later than I intended. I tried getting back into my normal routine today with going to the gym and work, but yeah. I’m still pretty sick. Luckily, I can write blog posts from bed though! My mind might be a bit scattered, but this train is still chugging forward….and this is getting weird. So, let’s get to some blue nail art!
Here is what I used:
You know, now that I’m actually looking at these nails, Aurora is purple…not blue…whoops. Meh, I thought it would pair well with this pattern by LuluDK, and I have to admit that I’m pretty stoked with how it turned out!
- Start by applying two (or three?) coats of Aurora.
- Once the base is dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the stripes.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Tonic Topper.
Regardless of whether or not Aurora is purple or blue, it is a STUNNING polish! Like wowza. All of those little, silver flakies are gorgeous and they play so well in nail art! I do wish that the blue, iridescent bits stood out a little more, but I’m so in love with how these turned out. Side note. Are you guys fans of Polished For Days? All of the polishes (and cuticle oils) I’ve tried so far have been awesome, and I’d love some recommendations on what I should order next! Also, make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts! I want to hear what you guys think of this nail art.
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Make sure to check back later, because I’m going to try and sneak one more quick post in here for you all. Also, don’t forget to check out the ladies down below!
