Good evening lovelies! We’re only two days into this week, and I’m already *just* squeezing my manicures in under the deadline. Today has been a really long day, so I’m moving a little slowly when it comes to blogging. But, it’s time for me to show you guys my second manicure for the Digit-al Dozen‘s black week. So, get excited and scroll onto to the nail art!
Here is what I used:
In yesterday’s post, I said my plan for this week was to do all my manicures with black bases…and yeah. Guess who did a fantastic job at sticking to that? High five to me haha! In my defense, this pattern by Zimmermann caught my eye and it basically begged me to put it on my nails. Which as you can see, I gave in and used it as my inspiration. And yes, that is a true story 😛
- Start by applying three coats of Big Lights Will Inspire You.
- Once the base is dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the pattern.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Tonic Topper.
So, that’s a wrap! It’s safe to say that I’m infatuated with this look and will most likely recreate it in the future. I’m loving how the silver holo contrasts against the black art here, but this print would look good in a ton of different color combinations! Which can we take a minute to discuss the silver base? This is my first polish from Don Deeva, but dang! It packs a punch! You need to go take a little sneak peek at the macro down below, because the polish is absolutely stunning. And while you’re down there, you should leave me a comment with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Don’t forget to go check out the other ladies below. It’s been really interesting seeing everyone’s takes on this black theme!
