Happy Monday lovelies! We’re totally going to ignore the fact that I fell off the blogging train last week, and just get right into today’s post. Valentine’s Day is coming up on Wednesday, and since I don’t really believe in the holiday there won’t be much themed nail art to share on the blog. But, I do have some nail art that you could definitely wear if you wanted to give a little nod to the day. So, with that being said, let’s get to the pink!
Here’s what I used:
Can we just take a second to acknowledge how long my nails look here?! These photos have been sitting on my computer since October of 2016 (whoops,) and dang! My nails have taken a serious downturn over the past year (like I literally just tore a corner off of my pinky nail just by removing my nail polish,) and it bums me out so much. Meh, anyways. The design was inspired by this print by Luli Sanchez!
- Start by applying three (I think) coats of the Leesha Lacquer’s polish (which, if anyone knows the name of this, let me know!)
- Then using the dry brush technique, add on a little bit of Pink Anemonemone and Ana.
- Once that’s dry, paint on the floral pattern with acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
So, what do you guys think? I’m not usually one for pink nails, but I could see myself recreating this design in a different color scheme. The glitters in that Leesha’s Lacquer do make for a really interesting nail art base though. But, as usual, leave me a comment down below with your thoughts! I’d love to hear what you think!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get it together this week, and stay on top of blogging. So, I hope you all stick around!
