Good afternoon (?) lovelies! That sounds a little weird, but we’re going to run with it haha. I’m back with my final look for last month’s The Digit-al Dozen color contrast theme! I know I keep rambling on about catching up with challenges and you guys probably don’t care. But, it’s something that bothers me. I feel like I can’t get excited about painting and sharing new looks until the old ones are out of the vault. My goal is to get caught up on everything by the end of the week, and it looks like I’m on track to do it! Anyways, let’s get onto the polish!
Here is what I used:
This time around I wanted to showcase the contrast between the colors coral and blue! It’s not a “true” contrast, but Tulip was calling my name and was demanding to be used immediately. And now I’m totally imagining what would happen if nail polish could talk. Like think what would happen if all of your untrieds could just cry for you to use them? Or your favorite polish yelling at you that it’s tired? Also, this post keeps getting really weird so we’re going to move on…
- Start by applying three coats of Tulip.
- Sponge on a layer of Twilight Twinkles over top.
- Once that has dried down a bit, dip a fan brush into some dark blue acrylic paint and randomly dab it on your nails.
- Repeat with the lighter blue.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
And there we have it. This is the simplest look that I did for this theme, but it’s by far my favorite! I love how the abstract, blue splotches look against the gold flakies from Twilight Twinkles. Tulip is a gorgeous polish as well, so this look is full of wins. But, I want to know what you think! Leave me a comment down below with your thoughts.
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Check back later for more!
