Oh hello! Again. I mentioned earlier that I was going to be cutting back on my double posting, and now I’m back with a double post haha. Technically, the earlier post was supposed to go up yesterday but life got in the way. So, to keep with my schedule, you guys get two posts tonight. Hopefully you don’t mind! Last month the Digit-al Dozen group celebrated its fifth birthday and we threw a party, but you can’t have a party without a birthday cake. And you can’t have a birthday cake without some birthday sprinkles. So, let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
I’ll be honest, I can’t remember if I had an inspiration photo for this nail art. But, I’m going to go out on a limb and say probably not because this look is pretty simple.
- Start by applying three coats of Speckled Eggs.
- Then add a layer of Make A Spectacle.
- Once that’s dry, use a detail brush and acrylic paint to add on the sprinkles.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
So, there’s that! Do these nails remind you of birthday sprinkles? The design is kind of generic, but I always love doing manicures like this because it takes me less than ten minutes to do all ten nails. I’m super stoked about this particular version though, because the base of these turned out SO. FREAKING. MAGICAL. Do you see those iridescent glitters and how they interact with the other glitters?! Do you?! Go sneak a peek at the macro below, and then let me know your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Don’t forget to check out the other ladies below (because they’re actually on top of their blogging game unlike some other people *cough cough*) and I’ll see you guys back here tomorrow!
