Oh. Hey there. How’s it going? It’s literally been less than an hour since my last post, but you know, it’d be rude if I just threw content at you all without asking how you were. Maybe? And this is getting weird…! Anyways. I’m still working to get all of my posts up for last week’s Digit-al Dozen theme, so get ready to blow your candles out and get your rage on!
Here is what I used:
Since last week’s theme was all about celebrating the Digit-al Dozen‘s fifth birthday, and you can’t really have a party without cake. That’s what I have for guys today! Sort of. It’s more of an abstract take on a birthday cake, but there’s candles and five of them are lit. So. Nailed it. This illustration by Felicity French Illustration and Design was the inspiration!
- Start applying three coats of That’s Crantastic!
- Add a layer of Always over top.
- Once that’s dry, add on the birthday candles with acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
So, what do you guys think? These definitely didn’t turn out as cool as I pictured them in my head, but they’re still pretty fun. That’s Crantastic! is a really lovely polish (it’s a thermal too,) so I’m happy whenever I get a chance to wear it. I love how the shimmer in Always played with the flakies too, but the base of it has turned yellow so it tinged the pink a little bit. Overall, I’m happy with the results though! Don’t forget to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so much for reading! As always, make sure to check out the ladies below and make sure to stop by here later for even more nail art!
