Happy Monday lovelies! Maybe? I feel like I start every Monday post off with the same rant about whether or not Mondays are actually a good thing or not. But really, does anyone know the answer to that? My weekend ended up being pretty busy, so I’m almost looking forward to getting into a routine again. Anyways! Nails! I never got a chance to share my final manicure for the Digit-al Dozen’s continents tour, but I’m back today with my last look. So, let’s get to the polish!
Here is what I used:
Could you guys figure out what continent we’re stopping at today? I mean it’s in the title, but if not, we are headed to Australia! I came across this Aboriginal inspired print by June Bird, and knew that it needed to be on my nails.
- Start by applying two coats of Winter Solstice Sunrise.
- Add a layer of Make A Spectacle on top.
- Once that’s dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the pattern. I found it easiest to paint the black on first and then add on the polka dots.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
This design ended up being a surprise favorite for me! I totally thought the Japanese florals that I posted last week would be, but this pattern is just so neat. Plus, it played really well with all the glitter and flakies happening in the base. I could definitely see myself experimenting with this design in different color schemes. But, make sure to leave me your thoughts down below in the comments! Also, let me know which continent was your favorite to visit with me!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Make sure to check back later for some more nail art goodness!
