We’re halfway through the week and luckily I get today off! I’m still not feeling any better and it’s making me tired all the time. I almost went to bed last night without doing any nail art, but I just couldn’t do it! I knew that I was going to need something to stare at while my car was being inspected haha.
Anywho, let’s get to today’s nails!
I think teal and black might be my favorite color combination for nail art because I love these!
Here’s what I used:
Today’s challenge theme is holo, which I know a lot of people are totally in love with but I’m still kind of on the fence about them. My holo collection is pretty limited but I came across Unteal The End Of Time (previously reviewed here) and decided to pair it with this pattern by Sarah York!
These nails started with two coats of Unteal The End Of Time and a layer of HK Girl. I then used the acrylic paint and striping brush to randomly paint on some branches. Those were followed by the little leaves that I added on using my detail brush. Everything was sealed in with another layer of HK Girl.
Here’s a direct light photo to show off the holo:
I liked how these nails turned out! I don’t know why but little leaves and branches like this are always some of my favorite nail art to paint. Maybe because it’s pretty easy and I can do it on both hands? Who knows. What do you guys think of these?
Thanks for reading guys!
